We are a general haulier, not a specialist chemical carrier, and we would rather tell you that up front than find out at the collection point.

What that means in practice is that Limited Quantities go on either our trusted pallet network or our own vehicles with our own ADR qualified drivers. For larger consignments we use the Hazchem pallet network or specialist partners who carry the volumes and classes we do not.

Either way you get a straight answer before you book. Send us the UN number, class and packing group and we will tell you whether it is a yes, and which route it takes.

Classes We Cover

1.4S (Limited), 2, 3, 4, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9. If your goods fall outside that list we will say so rather than take the booking and work it out later.

Which ADR classes do you carry?

Classes 1.4S (Limited), 2, 3, 4, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9. Anything outside those, including explosives beyond 1.4S Limited and radioactive material, is not something we handle.

What is the difference between LQ and larger consignments?

Limited Quantities are smaller packaged goods that fall under reduced ADR requirements, and we carry those on our own fleet with our own qualified drivers. Larger hazardous consignments go through the Hazchem pallet network or a specialist partner, since those movements need capability beyond what a general haulier holds.

Are your drivers ADR trained?

Yes. The drivers carrying LQ work hold current ADR qualifications for the classes involved.

What information do you need from me?

UN number, proper shipping name, class, packing group and quantity, plus correctly labelled and packaged goods with the right transport documentation. Send it with the enquiry and we will confirm before anything is booked.

Can hazardous and non-hazardous goods travel together?

Usually yes, subject to the segregation rules for the classes involved. Send us the full manifest and we will tell you what can go together and what needs splitting.
