Pallet Storage

Most companies store with one provider and deliver with another. It works until something goes wrong, at which point you are on the phone to two firms who each think it is the other's problem.

We do both. Your stock sits with the people distributing it, so a pallet can be picked and on a vehicle the same day without leaving the site or picking up a handling charge on the way out.

Storage is charged simply. A handling fee, then a weekly storage charge per pallet. No long list of extras.

After 20 years based in Salford, Pace Logistics are moving to Irlam. Our new home will be Northbank 40 on Bessemer Road, We gain easier access to the M6, whilst keeping our speedy connections into Manchester central.

Storage and distribution under one roof, so your stock is already where the vehicles are.

On-Site Storage

Short term and long term storage for non-hazardous stock, up to 4,000 pallets on site at our hub. Take space for a season or on a longer arrangement.

Additional Capacity

A further 10,000 pallets of storage available in close proximity to our hub, so growth or a bigger than expected peak does not mean finding a second supplier.

Simple Charging

A handling fee and a weekly storage charge per pallet. You can work out what your stock costs to hold without needing us to explain the invoice.

Value Added Services

Inspection, relabelling and repackaging carried out on site, so stock can be checked, corrected and sent out without an extra journey or a second supplier.

How much storage do you have?

Up to 4,000 pallets on site, with a further 10,000 pallets available close to our hub. Between the two we can handle most volumes, including seasonal spikes.

How is storage priced?

A handling fee plus a weekly storage charge per pallet. Send us your pallet count and expected throughput and we will give you a rate that holds.

Is there a minimum term?

No. We take short term and long term stock, so overflow for a busy quarter is as normal a request as a year-round arrangement.

Can you store hazardous goods?

Not on site. Our storage is for non-hazardous stock only. We can still carry ADR consignments, but they cannot be held in the warehouse.

What happens once my stock is picked?v

It goes straight out on our own vehicles or into the Palletforce network from the same site. No trunking to a third-party depot, no extra handling charge, and one company to ring if a delivery goes wrong.
